Synopsis

Shows how the message of sustainability is penetrating the commerical world by examining three companies involved in the life cycle of the plastic carrier bag, including a waste management company and a landfill site. Examples show how notions of sustainability are formalised into technical processes and management systems, and could eventually bring commercial advantage.
