Outbreak of War, The
- Synopsis
- The Polish view of the German invasion of Poland in 1939. Uses contemporary newsreels and has a certain antiquarian interest showing street scenes in Warsaw in 1939, as well as various shots of Beck, including one of him making his famous speech of 5 May 1939. Material illustrating the pathetic nature of Polish preparations for war. Polish commentary.
