Our Way Ahead

Synopsis
Made in Occupational Therapy Golden Jubilee Year the programme illustrates how, in a time when limited resources are available to meet increasing demands, occupational therapists are rising to the challenge of moving the process of rehabilitation away from centralised hospitals and establishments into the community. Pioneering work is being done with the elderly, the mentally ill and the mentally handicapped in order that they may be reintegrated into the community whilst continuing to receive the care they need. Shows what is being done at present and looks to the future.
