Synopsis
Looks at the implications of the Disability Discrimination Act for financial institutions, outlining the requirements of the Act and advising on ensuring that working practices do not discriminate against disabled people as customers, employees or colleagues. Examines fundamental assumptions, beliefs and stereotypes with regard to disability, and shows how banks and other financial institutions are responding to the Act.
