Synopsis

The library at the Wellcome Institute for the History of Medicine contains many rare and beautiful books, some of them very fragile. The video shows a selection of colour illustrations from one of them, ‘Om Spedalskhed’ (On Leprosy), by Danielssen and Boeck, published in 1847 in Bergen, Norway.
