Old Glengowla Lead Mine

Synopsis
The Old Glengowla lead mine in County Galway, Ireland, operated from 1851 to 1865. Today, an underground trip down to water level shows old equipment and and a variety of minerals, and on the surface can be seen the restored powder magazine, blacksmith’s workshop and agent’s cottage.
