- Synopsis
- Cartoon, drawn by Lancelot Speed, which looks forward to the peace that is to come. Old Father William is accosted by a young man who wants to know the secret of his serene and secure old age. The answer is that Father William bought war bonds and national savings certificates in his youth to help his country with the war and make a successful transition to peace. In turn his country now looks after him.
