Synopsis

Professor Stanley Milgram’s experiments on obedience to authority: subjects are instructed to administer electric shocks of increasing severity to other persons. Obedient and defiant reactions are shown and the subjects explain their actions after the experiment. The film was made in the experimental interaction laboratory of the Department of Psychology at Yale University. A Penn State Media Sales film.
