Nuer, The

Synopsis
The Nuer, well known from the work of Sir Edward Evans-Pritchard, live as transhumant herdsmen and millet farmers in the swamps and open plains close to the Nile and two of its major tributaries in the Sudan and Ethiopia. This film, made among the Ethiopian Nuer, provides an impression of the pattern of daily life in the cattle camps of the dry season.
