Describes the inflammatory process and the mechanism of action of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Considers indications for their use and the various groups of drugs within this class. Reviews the advice that should be given in the pharmacy to people who have been prescribed NSAISs or are purchasing them. Concludes by looking at interactions of the various groups of non-steroidals with other drugs, and the treatment of overdose.
