Synopsis
The Sandinista government of Nicaragua has made remarkable progress since the 1979 Revolution with its campaigns on literacy, health, child care and land reform. A United States backed opposition, the Contras, are threatening development in an attempt to destabilise the country. Questions the politics of international aid and looks at who is helping Nicaragua and who is not.
