New Order, A: An Evening at the Cabaret Voltaire

Synopsis
The word ‘Dada’ was invented to characterise the diverse activities of Hugo Ball and his associates at the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich in 1916. This video-based pack presents a dramatic reconstruction of the original performance and is intended to encourage a questioning of the role of reconstruction in understanding the past.
