New Order, A: An Evening at the Cabaret Voltaire
- Synopsis
- The word ‘Dada’ was invented to characterise the diverse activities of Hugo Ball and his associates at the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich in 1916. This video-based pack presents a dramatic reconstruction of the original performance and is intended to encourage a questioning of the role of reconstruction in understanding the past.
