- A set of slides based on the exhibition ‘New British Embroidery’, organised by Loughborough College of Art and Design, one of six institutions in Britain which offer a degree course in embroidery. The slides provide a survey of many of the designs of present-day embroidery.
The accompanying text is based on the exhibition catalogue, and presents a view of the distinctiveness of the courses offered by the various colleges, as well as quotations from the students’ own commentaries on their works. - Language
