Synopsis

A historic account of the early 20-century dance form developed by Madge Atkinson and taught for many years by London College of Dance. Contains an overview of the work and a lecture introduced by Phrosso Pfister which aims to encapsulate something of the style. The video was made in April 1983 during the Study of Dance Conference held at the University of Surrey.
