Synopsis
1: Egyptologists explore a new theory on how the huge rocks for the Great Pyramids at Giza were transported.
2: To the ancient Egyptians hieroglyphs, or sacred carvings, were powerful magical images capable of coming to life. Using computer technology the symbols are decoded by experts as they explore ancient mythology and search for the hieroglyph artists of the royal courts.
3: Tours the tomb of Tutankhamun, discovered in the 1920s, showing the making of the royal mummy and the treasures found in the sepulchre. Also shows KV-5, a recently discovered unplundered tomb in the Valley of the Kings, believed to contain the remains of the sons of Ramses the Great.
4: Looks at mysteries surrounding the Sphinx, and uses computer graphics to show it as it first appeared 4500 years ago.
