Multimedia Motion II

Synopsis
Thirty-seven film sequences of objects in motion, including crashing cars and trains, falling and spinning objects, atheltes and gymnasts, rocks and astronauts. Also contains motion analysis software which enables students to plot points in high-resolution images taken from the film footage, recording position and time coordinates that can be tabulated, graphed and processed to determine velocities, accelerations, momenta, forces and energies. Each motion sequence has an audio introduction and a related text file. It includes full-screen images, curve fitting to collected data, six new sequences including a seatbelt test and karate, user sequences to import and analyse motion sequences from camcorders and pre-recorded tapes, multiple data sets to plot trajectories of 2 or more objects in the same sequence.
