A (17 min): Looks at how the curves known as conics arise in different contexts and at the specific properties that lead to ways of describing them mathematically. / (41 min): Examines isometric transformations, showing translation, rotation and reflection; looks at their properties, at composite transformations, and introduces glide reflection; reviews the above, including the idea of a basic motif.
