Contents: Sir Stanley Matthews and his ‘magic feet’ - how Stanley Matthews’ design in football boots helped win the 1953 FA Cup Final (1955), Queen Elizabeth’s tour of Lancashire in 1955; construction of the locomotive ‘Coronation’ in Crewe (1911); a trip along the Manchester Ship Canal (1912-21); Prince George of Denmark’s visit to Manchester Docks (1949); the redevelopment of Hulme in 1946; Manchester Coronation celebrations in 1953; Neston Ladies Walking Day in 1910; campaign for Sunday cinema opening in Stockport (1941); Bolton Royal Infirmary Jubilee Year in 1933.
