Synopsis: For the past 60 years Mongolia, under the supervision of the People’s Revolutionary Party, has been undergoing a process of transformation from a feudal society to a modern industrial one. The film-makers visited one of the large collective farms or ‘negdels’ at the edge of the Gobi Desert to see in which directions and to what ends this society (the Khalkha) is advancing.
