Mondrian in New York

Synopsis
Traces the experience of Piet Mondrian in New York, where he lived from 1940 until his death in 1944. Uses old newsreels to create a picture of New York during the war. Six people close to the artist including Holzman, Charmiond von Wiegand and the photographer Arnold Newman talk about his life and art and the radical changes in his work during this period of his life.
