Mega-Tsunami: Wave of Destruction
- Synopsis
- Investigates the extremely rare and destructive phenomenon of mega-tsunami, tidal waves measuring several hunderds of metres in height. The ideal conditions for producing these powerful waves, which have the potential to engulf the entire eastern seaboard of the United States, currently exist on the Canary Island resort of La Palma, and scientists say it is not a quest of if, but of when, it the wave will strike.
