Medieval Village
- Synopsis
- Traces the history of Laxton, an English village, which used the open-field system of agriculture. From records and monuments a picture of the village in the middle ages is built up, and the modern thre-field system of strip cultivation is shown as a survival of the medieval system. The Manorial Court and the village pound are also shown in operation.
