- Synopsis
- A panel of medical and legal practitioners, including Sir Douglas Black, President of the Royal College of Physicians, and former High Court judge Sir Melford Stevenson, discuss the issues involved in allowing mentally handicapped newborn babies to die naturally at birth. Three cases are discussed: a three-month premature baby with broken bones and breathing problems, a spina bifida child and a child brain damaged at birth.
