Introduces Newton’s laws and their application for solving problems in mechanics. Uses as illustrations real-world problems such as the Tacoma Narrows Bridge collapse; and compares Aristotle’s ideas on force and motion with Newton’s laws, which are demonstrated by examples from Alton Towers leisure park.
