Meanwhile Gardens

Synopsis
Meanwhile Gardens is a community park built on derelict ground in Paddington, West London. The decision to build it was made by local people. With advice from technical experts, and help from the Manpower Services Commission scheme and other public support systems, they have landscaped the gardens, laid paths and built a skateboard and cycle track. Other projects have been inspired by this scheme such as the boating club which meets on the nearby canal.
