Mathematics and Physics for Anaesthetists. Part 5: Si Units

Subtitle
SI units
Synopsis
The National Health Service has ‘gone metric’, and this has involved medical, scientific and nursing staff in the use of units which in some cases have unfamiliar names. The numbers associated with normal and abnormal values of particular qualities have also often changed. For these reasons it is important that all hospital staff are familiar with the SI system of units and this videotape is designed to provide a general introduction to the system.
