Synopsis

Based on Chagall’s personal museum in Nice, the artist talks about the major influences on his creative life from the Impressionists and Cubists to the roles of his first and second wives and presents his highly personal ideas on art. Looks at the many media, e.g. etchings, mosaics, gouaches, stained glass, to which Chagall has been attracted.
