Synopsis
In six parts, this video illustrates the many different activities of managers in the National Health Service. It focuses on motivation, looking at the work of staff at Dingleton Hospital in Scotland; deals with team-building using a case study of a new multi-disciplinary team in Bromley; examines different approaches to management style; looks at organisational structure and culture; provides two useful case studies of managing change - by the Unit General Manager at Derby City Hospital and in the children’s wards at University College Hospital in Nottingham.
