- Synopsis
- Twenty-five years ago at age 19, half of Ian Waterman’ nervous system was destroyed by a virus and he was left with no feeling below his neck. Through sheer determination he has taught his brain to overcome the disease that had atrophied the sensory nerves responsible for touch and for movement messages. Now he and his doctors are trying to understand the process by which he regained movement.
