Man and Animal

Synopsis
Explores peoples relationship with other animals - from love and devotion to cruelty and greed. Shows a multiple sclerosis sufferer who is totally dependent on her dog, a paraplegic who relies on his rhesus monkey who responds to sixty different commands. In contrast dogs are eaten in Korea and cats in Guan. Westerners pamper their pets and ignore cruelty towards livestock. Biologist Richard Dawkins points out the similarities between man and animal, simliarities that could lead to more animals in medical experiments and organ transplants.
