Malcolm X: Struggle for Freedom

Synopsis
Portrays Malcolm X at a time when his views were changing to include the world situation with regard to the race problem. He argues that black people’s common heritage and experiences of imperialism and racism call for a radical perspective that cuts across national boundaries. Includes interviews filmed during his trip to Europe and Africa shortly before his assassination in the United States. These are interspersed with scenes of African rebellion.
