Assemblies (4 Parts)

Synopsis

Four lightly edited recordings of primary school assemblies, each having its own theme and involving active participation by the pupils. Part 1: Danny, who is in the reception class of his infant school, has a baby brother Luke. Luke’s parents bring him into school and an assembly is built around this visit on the theme ‘growing up’. Part 2 illustrates the theme ‘commitment’ by a short play and some photographs. Parts 3 & 4 are concerned with colour.
