Synopsis
Part 1 shows the kind of plants and animals to be found in the major habitats of tropical rainforests, including rivers, the forest margin, the litter layer and the canopy. Gives a picture of the diversity and complexity of the rain forest ecosystem. The emphasis is chiefly upon the animals of the forest: gibbons, flying lemurs, trapdoor spiders, fireflies, flying frogs. Part 2 deals with the exploitation of the forest.
