Synopsis

In 3 parts, recorded at Windy Nook Infants School with children aged 5-7, multi-streamed. Dorothy Heathcote created a fantasy world in which the children are confronted with very real problems. In this ‘Alice in Wonderland’ world the children are encouraged to be aware and to react totheir surroundings. Through the dramatic context they find expression which underlines their search for understanding. Mrs Heathcote gtalks in the studio with Lesley Webb, Lecturer in Primary Education, and Barbara Cawthorn, Headmistress.
