Synopsis
Invistigates fertility treatment, looking at scientific progress in the field. Scientists, doctors, egg donors and test-tube mothers talk about infertiity. Includes footage of in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) surgery - collection of microscopic eggs from would-be mothers, the moment life is created, and the replacement of the fertilised egg in the womb. Investigates the ethics of using eggs from aborted fetuses. Also looks at the problems associated with providing fertility treatment to post-menopausal women.
