Synopsis
Discusses the protests of the mothers of the 30,000 people who disappeared in Argentina during the kidnappings, tortures and murders that occured in the 1970s ‘dirty war’ of the Argentine military against the ‘left-wing subversives’. Follows the development of the organisation since 1977 and shows how the mothers have influenced the Argentine government, especially since Raul Alfonsin was elected President in 1983.
