Synopsis
French feature film adapted from a novel by Louise de Vilmourin set in ‘fin de siècle’ Paris. A countess has a pair of earrings given to her by husband. After a doomed love affair with a baron she sells them when she becomes desperate for money. As they are sold from owner to owner they eventually find their way back to the countess.
