Synopsis
In an interview, Hugh MacDiarmid (Christopher M. Grieve) talks about his life and work to another Scottish poet, George Bruce. Between readings of selected excerpts from his poems MacDiarmid reminisces on his early days in Langholm and the Border country and on the subsequent influence on his poetry and philosophy.
