Synopsis
Focuses on the creative processes that led to the frescoes of the Farnese Gallery, executed between 1997 and 1600 by Annibale and Agostino Carracci and filmed on location in the Farnese Palcace in Rome. Also tells the story of the restoration of the National Gallery cartoons made by Agostino Carracci in preparation for two of the fresco scenes on the gallery’s ceiling.
