Look in Your Eye, A

Synopsis
Indicates the range of an opthalmic optician’s work from a routine eye examination to the use of machines such as the Tubinger Perimeter in the hospital service. A sequence on contact lens fitting is included. The optician’s obligation to refer any disease he may discover to a medical practitioner is emphasised. An optician with a practice on the Inner Hebrides is shown which allows discussion of the value of such a service to isolated rural communities.
