Asexual Reproduction in ‘Aspergillus Fumigatus’

Synopsis
Shows the sprouting of aspergillus filaments from an aspergillosis infected lung. Germination of the conidia follows: the resulting hyphae form the vegetative and reproductive mycelium. As asexual fruit forms, the aspergillus heads develop with sterigmata and conidia. Made from material shot in 1961/62. An Encyclopaedia Cinematographica film.
