Long to Reign over Us?

Synopsis
In the wake of books, biographies and ‘annus horribilis’, the British monarchy is facing its biggest crisis for half a century. Even establishment circles are now worried that the cracks in the royal facade are beginning to show. Looks at the personal, public and political pressures on the royal family and asks how the monarchy is going to retain support and how it will adapt for the next century.
