Lms: Lessons from Norfolk

Synopsis

Introduces the issues involved in LMS (Local Management of Schools) and the relationship to it of financial delegation. The process is illustrated through the experience of four Norfolk schools which have been involved in the project since 1984, using a software system devised by Dolphin Computer Services. Gives the views of heads, administrators, school clerical staff and governors involved in the new procedures and considers the impact of the new legislation.
