Listening to Lily: Loss and the Elderly
- Synopsis
- Lily, an elderly woman of 91, talks about her feelings of loss and frustration she is experiencing in old age, particularly those connected with her deteriorating eyesight. A worker for the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind listens and responds empithetically to Lily’s concerns and, when appropriate, looks at practical considerations with her. This is their first meeting.
