- Synopsis
- Mrs C, a 78-year-old widow, formerly a midwife, has cancer of the bowel. She relates her feeling concerning her diseases, and her experiences of treatment and care. Mrs S, a 40-year-old patient with Hodgkin’s disease, has had several years of intermittent chemotherapy. She discusses her experience with the disease and the influence of this on her life and family. Both patients discuss the role the ‘Coping with Cancer’ progrmme and the Marie Curie home have played in their care. Emphasises the need for practical help and caring support.
