Synopsis
Examines the moral and scientific issues sourrounding the treatment of premature babies, as techniques of neonatal care become more sophisticated. Looks at the case of Kristen, alive after being born at 23 weeks and left for dead, leading doctors to investigate whether hypothermia can protect premature babies from brain damage.
