Synopsis
Shows the professional engineer at work: suggests the kind of responsibility placed on him by a highly mechanical society and gives an example of the application of his academic training to a practical situation. Some of the causes for lift break-down in high-rise of flats are investigated and the attitudes of the inhabitants to lift engineers explored.*
