Life in Loch Lomond

Synopsis
An introduction to fresh water ecology, based on Loch Lomond. Explores various physical and topographical features of the different regions of the loch and relates the planktonic and benthic flora and fauna to these features. Shows field course work and technique and the facilities available at the Loch Lomond field station. A number of sampling techniques are demonstrated including fishing with a seine net.
