Synopsis
Explores the nature of the language and the levels of understanding achieved by 14-year-old pupils of differing abilities, who were studying the problem of ‘Richard III and the Missing Princes’ as part of the Schools Council History Project unit ‘What is History?' Comparisons were also made between the different teaching techniques used with the classes.
