Synopsis

Looks at national stereotypes regarding primary education - whether the educational systems in France and England are vastly different, at legislation and the move to converge the two systems, and at what has actually happened in practice. Focuses on two primary schools, The Ecole National in France and Blaise School in England, both of which have a mixed intake of about 300 children.
